CORNBREAD RECIPE - How To Be More Productive?
Cornbread recipe
2 cups of self-raising white cornmeal (Dixie Lilly is my favorite, but others will also)
1 cup of flour
2 1/2 cups of buttermilk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees with well-oiled cast iron pans (not PAM)
Mix all the ingredients with a spoon before adding them to the pan. Make it have the same consistency as the thick pancake dough.
Bake about 20 minutes until golden brown and cracked on top.
Grill for a minute or two (if necessary) until golden brown.
Voodoo Pig Bread
1 large loaf ciabatta bread
8 fluid ounces Voodoo Sauce™
8 ounces grated Provolone cheese
8 ounces goat cheese
8 ounces julienne red onions
4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
12 ounces pulled roasted or smoked pork
2 fluid ounces Eastern NC-style barbecue sauce
Place 12 ounces of pulled pork in a bowl and toss with BBQ sauce.
Cut ciabatta loaf in half horizontally and then cut each half in half across.
Evenly distribute Voodoo Sauce on each bread slice.
Sprinkle grated Provolone, goat chevre, onions and pork over bread.
Bake in a 450-degree oven till crisp and cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
