Some People Excel At PANCAKE RECIPE And Some Don't - Which One Are You?


Pancake Recipe

Ingredients:

¾ of a cup of milk
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 egg whites
1 cup of flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt


Directions:

1. Break the egg in the large bowl and beat with hand beater.
  
2. Add the milk, oil, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to the bowl. Stir until mixture is smooth. 
3. Turn large burner to medium-high (6 or 7) and place the tray on Griddle Burner square-let warm for a couple of minutes. 
4. Check to see if it is hot, put a few drops of water in the pan, the water sizzle or dance, if it is warm enough.  

5. Pour pancakes in a cup 2 cup measuring liquids.  

6. Pour the mixture into the pan - 4 pancakes fit in the comal (at the same time.  

7. Cook pancakes until bubbles cover the entire pancake and pop.
  
8. Using your Turner, turn the pancakes and cook on the other side until golden brown.  

9. To keep the hot pancakes: pile on the plate, place the plate in a tray and place in the oven at 250 degrees.

10. When all the pancakes are done, serve with butter and homemade syrup.


Recipe for homemade syrup


Ingredients:
¼ cup honey
¼ cup butter or margarine
¼ cup of cream

Directions:

1. Put the honey, butter or margarine and cream in a small saucepan.

2. Bring to the boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly.

3. Once boiled, remove from the heat.

4. Serve on the pancakes.
