Spicy pumpkin pie with Grand Marnier
You will need:A frozen pie crust - I like DEEP DISH 9 inch.
Filling:
½ cup brown sugar solidly packed
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon of grated orange peel finely
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 TBS Grand Marnier
½ cup of liquid egg substitute
1-1/4 cup of evaporated skim milk
1 (16 ounces) of pumpkin
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thaw the bark of cake, punch and cook partially. To cool for 30 minutes. Reduce the heat to 325 degrees. COMBINE all ingredients until smooth. Place cake on a cookie sheet of bark. Pour the filling into the crust. Bake for one hour or until a knife (clean). Allow cooling to room temperature before serving.Next week: White Trash salad
