Healthy Real Donuts


These magnificent breakfast treats are gluten-free, free of cane sugar and baking!
There is something so fun and rewarding about taking something that is supposed to be unhealthy and turn it into a tasty snack. 
Basic Real healthy Donut recipe: 
Dry ingredients:

•          1 1/4 cup of flour of blanched almonds
•          1/4 teaspoon of baking soda


Wet Ingredients:


•          3 tablespoons of pure maple syrup, grade B
•          1/4 teaspoon almond extract
•          1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
•          2 tablespoons of coconut oil, melted
•          1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
•          2 eggs, at room temperature, the whites and yolks separated


1.         Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the 6-mold donut bread with coconut oil. (If you live near me…theres a new departure in the Glo twp Corningware outputs).
2.         Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl combine all wet ingredients, except the egg white.
3.         Mix the wet with dry and set it aside.
4.         Beat egg whites until firm peaks form. Bent slightly the egg whites in the earth.
5.         Equally, distribute the mixture between the 6 molds of rings. Smooth the tops of each donut. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
6.         Allow the donuts to cool, remove from skillet and then cool in the fridge for half an hour.
