My Philosophy

The best advice of health is simple: eating fruits and vegetables. Many
The books depend on meat as the central feature of a meal. My
Recipes celebrate the vegetables instead of meat.

My intention was to create food that does not need
Complement your meals with cheap carbohydrates to avoid hunger.
I strive to create recipes that use the money carefully, without be purely
Subservient to the bottom line. For example, many recipes use butter instead
That oil. Butter is not cheap but does not create the flavor, crunchy and wealth
In a way you never cheap oils.

I am not a nutritionist, and this is not a diet book. I am only a cook at home, as well as
You. If you have dietary restrictions, some recipes will not work for you
As it is, but that is ok you can try to suit your needs, or simply
Turn the page and continue looking for inspiration.

More than a book of recipes, this is a book of ideas. I want to adapt
Things to your liking. Improvisation is the soul of a large kitchen! If
It does not work every time, I hope you will forgive me. What is more important,
Forgive us, and try again.

During its growing season, local fruits and vegetables
Are generally cheaper and certainly more flavorful than outside
Of the season. You will notice that shoot the orange
During the summer, but what is available is monotonous and
Sosa. But the oranges are abundant in December and
January, the peak season, and that is reflected
In the price. At the end of summer, you can get bags of
Zucchini for next to nothing. Brussels sprouts are also
Very seasonal, next to the sale around the time of Thanksgiving.
Enjoy both products and summer and autumn
It is possible because it's going to be more limited in the winter.
Then again, latent, and roasting winter vegetables
It is a good way to heat the house and harsh winter
The roots are easy to store. In addition, winter is a great
Time To Find offers in canned and frozen produce.
The seasons of fruits and vegetables vary according to
Where you live, so you see a guide for local growth.
Seasons and use it to buy the best deals.

The eggs are generally more expensive than worth the money of its flavor both
Better than the cheap eggs. Even at $4 a dozen, even these paying only
33 cents an egg. Really fresh eggs, such as a farmers' market,
They also make a big difference in taste.
